A German-writing author of Jewish origins from Prague. His objective, detail-focussed method of writing about logically inexplicable events was absolutely ground-breaking. Kafka’s most important works are considered to be the novels The Trial, The Man who Disappeared, The Castle and the novella Metamorphosis.
